Westfield Care & Nursing Home is set in the heart of Boston. Our light, airy and spacious lounge and dining areas allow residents to relax and socialise in comfort. Our courtyard garden is a favourite place for residents throughout the year. The home is well equipped to provide the very best personal and nursing care.
Our thirty-four bedrooms at Westfield Nursing Home are tastefully decorated, making them comfortable and relaxing places to be. All bedrooms are en-suite with walk-in en-suite shower rooms to support independent living and each floor also features an assisted bathroom. Whatever their preference our staff are on hand to help with all personal care.
Our residents have made their outdoor space their own, choosing plants at the local garden centre and enjoying sharing our gardening tasks between themselves - some even have their own personal flowerbeds or veg patches to tend to. We also have our Annual Country Court in Bloom competition which sparks a lot of joy – and rivalry!
Light, bright and spacious, our communal areas are designed to make residents feel at home with a choice of lounges to enjoy. Residents can find a quiet spot to enjoy reading or a catch up with friends, and if they are feeling sociable, they can join in with group activities and entertainment, too.
Our dining areas are clean, bright and welcoming with lovely views into the garden. Residents enjoy joining their friends for mealtimes where they can be comfortable and relaxed in a homely setting.
For many of our residents, a set and blow dry are part of their weekly calendar! They love a trip to the salon to see the hairdresser, finding it a great boost for overall well-being. For those that like to keep their nails looking smart, our activities team are on hand to offer hand pampering and manicures too.
Shirley is a dedicated manager and qualified RGN Nurse with a passion for caring for older people. She started her nursing career in the NHS and has over twenty years of experience in the care sector. She is passionate about providing the very highest standards of care and support. In 2021 Shirley was Highly Commended at the East Midlands GB Care Awards for her passionate and dedicated approach.
Erika provides a real breadth of entertainment and trips at Westfield. From visits to local places of interest to trips to the seaside, she takes regular feedback and requests from residents to ensure everyone’s wishes are accommodated. We welcome musicians, singers, community groups and professional hairdressers into our home so residents can feel good, learn new skills and discover new passions.
Manju has been a Nurse for 20 years and has transitioned into the role of Senior Carer. Manju loves being able to care for others and put a smile on our residents' faces.
Andrew works closely with our care team at Westfield Nursing Home to understand the needs and preferences of all who live with us. He likes to involve our residents in developing the weekly menus and regularly uses the vegetables and herbs that are grown in the gardens.
