Lyncroft Care Home in Wisbech offers family focused residential care in homely surroundings. The building has been a care home since 1991 and has 39 en suite bedrooms. Many of the original features of the period building have been carefully preserved. The home is situated in a quiet residential area surrounded by large landscaped gardens and mature trees, it also benefits from being close to the town centre and local amenities.
Personalised and compassionate care is delivered by our team of fully trained staff, we like to get to know our residents individually and offer opportunities to engage in meaningful opportunities everyday.
Keen to be involved in new and innovative projects, Lyncroft was one of the first care homes to be involved in the ‘Red Bag’ scheme launched by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, a collaboration between local care homes, the East of England Ambulance Service and West Norfolk CCG.
A Homely Environment
At Lyncroft Care Home we get to know our residents individually and they get to know us, we give our residents every opportunity to participate in the life of the home. Each resident is treated to a homemade cake on their birthday (made by the manager) and special occasions are truly special at Lyncroft.

Wellbeing and Activities
At Lyncroft Care Home we offer a lively program of activities, our Activities and Well-being Coordinators support our residents to continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests. From baking, arts, crafts, singing and games there is always something going on for everyone to enjoy.
Residents are encouraged to continue to enjoy being part of their local community, there are regular outings to Wisbech and local places of interest. Events are held in the home and the local community are encouraged to take part and be part of life at our home, the local fire brigade and children from Wisbech Day Nursery are regular visitors.
