Happy 100th Birthday Mollie!
Everyone at The Grove Care Home in Waltham near Grimsby wished resident Mollie a very happy 100th birthday this week. Mollie was joined by her family for a celebration lunch and enjoyed reading her card from Her Majesty the Queen.
Mollie is originally from Wiltshire, she married her husband in Swindon, having met him when she was just 13 and he was 17. They were married for sixty six years and had two daughters Diane and Shirley. Her husband was head of a boys school and Molly was needlework teacher at Tollbar in Lincolnshire.
Mollie enjoys knitting and crochet and is always busy making something, she is currently crocheting squares for blankets for charity. Her room at The Grove Care Home is decorated with examples of her beautiful needlework.
Happy Birthday Mollie from everyone at Country Court Care!
