Ferrars Hall Care Home nominated for multiple national awards!
Ferrars Hall Care Home has been shortlisted in the UK’s newest free-to-enter care awards and is in the running for a prestigious national award. The home has been shortlisted in the Best Innovation in Care Award and Best End of Life Team at the Caring UK Awards, a new annual event which recognises excellence and achievement within the care sector throughout the country.
The awards are organised by Script Events in conjunction with leading care industry magazine Caring UK, and in each category up to six finalists have been selected, who will now go through to the next stage of the judging process where they will be out to impress by showcasing first hand the great work going on in their homes. This stage involves a visit to each finalist by a member of the awards team who will take a look around the facilities and chat to members and staff before compiling a comprehensive report, which will then be passed on to an expert judging panel to decide the worthy winners. Trophies will then be presented at a glittering awards ceremony on Friday December 8 at The National Railway Museum in York.
Ferrars Hall Care Home is part of the Country Court Care Group and provides care to 66 residents, in beautiful surroundings, with care led by the Country Court Care’s family values. Officially opened in June 2016 by Cllr Daryl Brown the Mayor of Huntingdon, Ferrars Hall Care Home is registered to provide personalised residential and dementia care in a state-of-the-art environment.
Julie Britten, Home Manager at Ferrars Hall, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that our wonderful, committed team at Ferrars Hall have received this nomination. Not only does this go to show how dedicated, loving and hardworking our staff are, but it shows that Ferrars Hall is simply a wonderful place to live and work!”
