1st Thurlby Scout Group bring Christmas cheer to Rose Lodge Care Home
Rose Lodge Care Home residents had a very special visit from 1st Thurlby Scouts Group, who visited the Deeping care home to sing carols. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts & Explorers took turns to sing all the favorite festive carols to residents.
The Scout group enjoyed chatting to the residents after the singing and there was a very festive atmosphere.
“It was lovely to have the Scout group visit us, this is the second year they’ve sung carols for us and we hope that this will become an annual tradition” said Home Manager, Natalie White. “Our residents thoroughly enjoyed their evening with the children and young people”.
Rose Lodge Care Home is currently home to 33 residents and offers residential and dementia care in a homely setting. The care home opened in September 2015 and has become well established in the town of Market Deeping.
