NURSING HOME SAYS GOODBYE TO LONG SERVING STAFF MEMBER
Holland House has recently had to say goodbye to one of their longest serving staff. Shelia Giddings, a senior carer at Holland House Nursing Home, has chosen to retire from her post, after 20 years of service at the home.
All the staff at Holland House and across Country Court Care were deeply saddened at the news of her imminent departure, but also fully understood that she felt it was time for her to finish.
Holland House Care Home, which is based in Market Deeping, and houses 10 residents, is very highly regarded amongst its local community, and hosts many community events, as well as offering extremely bespoke, high level of care. When the Care Quality Commission recently conducted an unannounced inspection in October, it was fully compliant and received much commendation for its bespoke, personalised care.
Speaking about Shelia, Holland House Home Manager stated: “Shelia has been an incredible ambassador for the care sector and is a thoroughly valued member of the team at Holland House Nursing Home, since she joined in September 1993. I wish her all the best and hope she enjoys her retirement, as she deserves every second of it.”
