Oakview Lodge welcomes local schoolchildren from Commonswood School
Oakview Lodge Care Home recently opened its doors to a group of local schoolchildren, for a bit of festive competition. Twenty pupils from Commonswood School were invited to handmake some Christmas tree decorations, and then come and put them on Oakview Lodge’s Christmas tree. Prizes were given out to the best three, as well as Christmassy treats to all the pupils for participating.
Discussing the visit, newly appointed Home Manager for Oakview Lodge, Toni Greenhill stated: “We were delighted to welcome the wonderful students from Commonswood. Their entries for our Christmas Tree competition were wonderful, and we look forward to using them on our tree over the coming years. We also look forward to welcoming the children back to meet our residents once we are open”
