Eccleshare Court Care & Nursing Home has a wide range of dementia-friendly facilities, our pub, shop, hair salon and café can be found on the village street. The garden is well maintained and enjoyed by residents throughout the year. Our nursing home in Lincoln is designed to provide people with every opportunity to lead a full and active social life.
Our 49 bedrooms are spacious, cheerful and comfortable; rooms are en-suite & have been designed with the privacy and comfort of our residents in mind. Our highly-trained care & nursing team are available 24 hours a day to attend to your loved ones every need. No-one is ever forgotten, so those who want or need to spend their time in their bedroom still receive one to one attention from staff.
Our communal lounges are comfortable and calming spaces, offering an opportunity to sit and relax while quietly overlooking the garden or chat with friends and family with a cup of tea – just as you would at home. Our staff are always on hand to offer support when required, they know each resident individually and provide care with the kindness and respect you’d expect from your own family.
For many of our residents, spending time in the garden is their favourite pastime. Our Annual Country Court in Bloom competition which sparks a lot of joy – and rivalry! Our Chef is often spotted in the kitchen garden picking herbs for his latest dish. We enjoy sharing gardening tasks, particularly making hanging baskets using plants chosen on a trip to the local garden centre.
Serving hot and cold beverages, and delicious cakes with snacks available around the clock, the Cathedral café at Eccleshare is a great meeting point for residents, visitors and friends from within the local community. The café also hosts a wide range of meaningful activities and groups including our knit and natter group, crafting and baking activities, too
The Letters Inn is one of our most popular facilities! There is always something going on to bring smiles to the faces of our residents; from quizzes to birthday parties, singers to dance-a-thons - our pub is the heart of our home. It is the ideal location for our residents to enjoy life, relax and share good times with friends, as they always have done.
A trip to our hair salon is a popular weekly treat for residents who look forward to their regular set and blow-dry. Our luxurious and comfortable salon makes the whole experience a real indulgence for residents. For those that wish to keep their nails looking smart, they can enjoy a manicure and hand pampering from our activity team, too.
Lisa is our Manager at Eccleshare Court and has many years’ experience in caring for older people. Lisa has been with Country Court for over 15 years, previously managing Swanholme Court and working as Deputy Manager at its sister home Eccleshare Court. Her hard work and dedication were recognised with a staff award for treating residents, staff & relatives with dignity, respect, care & compassion.
Noel is our Chef Manager he is a highly skilled chef with a background in catering onboard cruise ships. Noel works closely with the care team, residents and their families to understand everyone's individual preferences and nutrition needs. Noel is especially creative with celebration cakes for birthdays and special events, ensuring every resident has a personalised birthday cake.
David is a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with a specialism in Dementia and Older Adult Mental Health Care. He is a University of Bradford accredited Dementia Care Mapper and has delivered support sessions to carers of people experiencing dementia. David’s belief in the concepts of person-centred care is at the heart of the excellent care he provides for residents at families.
As the Well-being Lead it is Sharon's aim to provide the individual with a variety of stimulating activities to enjoy, encouraging them to have a happy healthy quality of life maintaining their dignity.
