Fully-Equipped to Promote Independence
Ruckland Court is specially designed to provide residents with individual spaces that they can call their own, putting independence at the forefront of what we do. The care home is complete with 41 single and 6 double self-contained flats spanning two floors, carefully thought through to ensure that each individual resident can maintain the highest level of independence possible. Each of the flats includes a personal lounge, fitted kitchen, private bathroom, hand basin, shower and bed area with a built-in cupboard for additional storage space. Furthermore, there is freedom to personalise the flat with furniture and belongings from home, making the transition simple and the space more comfortable.
The home is also highly accessible and wheelchair friendly with the inclusion of a passenger lift to allow easy access to the first floor. Boasting highly-trained staff and a relaxing, homely environment, Ruckland Court's residents are able to enjoy all the comforts of home whilst remaining confident and safe with trained professionals available at every hour of the day to help with their needs. It’s our goal to create an environment which embraces the individuality of each resident, encouraging them to live life to the full whilst offering support when needed.
We take care extremely seriously and treat each of our residents as a member of the family. In turn, this care transitions beyond residents towards their extended families and beyond. Whatever stage you are at in your search for a care home, we are on hand to help. If you are looking for a care home in Lincoln, feel free to pop in and chat to us whenever you are available. Few things in life matter more than family which is why we make no exceptions on the level of care that we provide to our residents. "Mum has thrived and although struggles now to follow a conversation, she is able to take care of her own personal care with the support of the staff. I am delighted that at 84 she has put on weight since moving to the home, and that her deterioration has slowed down. The home has recently put in extra activities for residents and there are now new menus, and also activity notice boards. I do not live close so I needed a home with a good atmosphere, pleasant rooms where residents are allowed their own things, and excellent staff. Ruckland fits all that. I am very pleased with all they have done for mum."

Activities & Events
Part of our mission to provide a positive and independent space is a focus on providing residents with engaging activities to take part in. At Ruckland Court, we offer a lively programme of events and occasions, with a dedicated Activities and Well-Being Coordinator on hand to support residents and help them continue practising their hobbies or interests. These hobbies can vary, from gardening and baking to arts and crafts or singing, there is always something going on for everyone to enjoy.
We encourage residents to continue being part of their local community and organise regular outings to Lincoln City Centre and local attractions so that they can stay connected to the city’s goings-on. This local encouragement extends beyond the residents, too, with the local community attending many of the events held in the home, joining residents and providing them with new, engaging people to meet.
