Carpenders Park Care Home near Watford recently hosted its Summer Family Fun Day, uniting residents, families, and the local community with live music, a variety of local stalls, and delicious refreshments.
‘The event was held in our garden, with residents and guests enjoying live music and browsing a range of community stalls. Attendees commented positively on the entertainment and atmosphere, and some even joined in the dancing, making it a memorable afternoon’ said Customer Relations Manager Noel Maher.

Tropical Skincare, selling products for both men and women.
Cat Protection League, with homemade cakes, preserves, and gifts in support of their work.
Bookstall featuring new titles for children and young adults.
Audiology stand, providing information on at-home hearing checks.
Carpenders Park Ladies Group, with handmade knitted and sewn items.
Bootiful Gifts, offering novelty and seasonal gift items.
Handbag stall, showcasing a variety of bags for ladies.
Reflecting on the event, Home Manager Julie Wicks commented, "A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported our Summer Fair. Our event raised an amazing total of £376.00, including a donation to Guide Dogs for the Blind. We’re already considering how to develop the event further next year."
