Care Homes across the Country Court group participated in Cake4Kindness Day on Thursday, the 20th of November. Cake4Kindness is a registered not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) with a vision to alleviate loneliness and social isolation for those experiencing homelessness through the distribution of cakes.
Founder of Cakes4Kindness Neel Radia Commented:
‘This was an incredible afternoon - thank you everyone at Carpenders Park Care Home for your hospitality, positive energy and community support. Your team and residents were amazing. Congratulations also to Greg your chef and his brigade for the beautiful layout of food and cakes. Both Aaron Phipps MBE and I had a wonderful time together.’
Claire Masterson, Home Manager at Carpenders Park Care Home:
“We were delighted donate multiple boxes of freshly baked cupcakes, all beautifully decorated by our chef, residents and families. Taking part in Cake4Kindness has been a simple yet meaningful way for us to support our local community.”
The initiative offered residents and staff at Carpenders Park the opportunity to connect with and support a local organisation that provides essential assistance to families and individuals in need.
