Greenwood Court Care Home in Great Baddow recently welcomed local professionals to their latest Coffee and Connections networking event. It was a morning designed to bring businesses together, share ideas, and explore ways in which they can work together to support the local community. The event provided a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for guests to network, learn about new initiatives, and gain a better understanding of Greenwood Court Care Home and the staff team behind it.
Guests enjoyed a delicious display of pastries, tea, and coffee. Topics of discussion included the benefits of Namaste care, men’s mental health, and reflections on each attendee’s professional experiences. Both the funeral director and parish councillor shared how their previous work in care continues to influence their approach to supporting people today.
Adding a little extra fun to the morning, guests were entered into a “win a bottle and chocolates” competition, which was won by guest Nicola Gornall from Dignity Funeral Directors.
Guests praised Greenwood Court Care Home for its welcoming atmosphere and beautiful environment, commenting on how the home felt “lovely and like a hotel.”
The event also opened conversations and ideas for future collaboration. The team at Greenwood Court were particularly inspired by discussions around Namaste care and how this approach could be further embedded within the home to enhance residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.
