Moat House Care Home in Great Easton, Essex was thrilled to host its Community Dog Show on Saturday 13th September, which proved to be a fantastic afternoon for residents, families, and local visitors.
With wagging tails, friendly competition, and lots of laughter, the event brought people of all ages together along with their four-legged friends.
The show featured a variety of fun categories including Loveliest Lady, Best Rescue, Golden Oldie, Cutest Pup, and Waggiest Tail, with proud owners and their pets taking centre stage. The afternoon also included local stalls, refreshments, and a popular Dog Related Photo Competition, which saw some creative entries and plenty of smiles.
Most importantly, thanks to everyone’s support, we raised funds for Danaher Animal Home, a local charity dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs in need.
"We were delighted to see such a wonderful turnout. The dogs brought so much joy to our residents, and it was fantastic to welcome families, friends, and neighbours into our home."
"Our Dog Show is always a highlight for the community. This year’s event was a huge success, and we’d like to thank everyone who came along and made it such a special day."
From the fluffiest pooch to the scruffiest dog, every entry helped make the day one to remember – and we’re already looking forward to next year’s show!
