Residents at The Grove Care Home in Waltham, near Grimsby, recently enjoyed a touch of Hollywood glamour during a dazzling Oscars-themed celebration, held as part of Country Court’s month-long Oscar’s festivities across all its care homes this March.
The special afternoon saw residents, their families, and staff dressed in their finest attire, stepping out to celebrate residents' unique personalities and talents. Awards presented included categories like "Most Helpful", "Greatest Laugh," "Most Creative” and “Most Active” each carefully chosen to highlight residents' characteristics.
Guests were treated to delicious canapés and sparkling refreshments as they mingled, posed in front of a glitzy photo backdrop, and enjoyed the lively, festive atmosphere. The event was met with warm praise and heartfelt comments from attendees, including:
