Ground breaking nursing care in the heart of Camberwell

Opening January 2022

Led by kindness, compassion and dignity, the dedicated staff at Country Court's new Nursing home in Camberwell, will provide the kind of care we would want all of our loved ones to receive.

The new home which will specialise in nursing care, residential care, dementia care and short-term respite care for up to ninety-nine people. It will provide an affordable luxury care offering in Southwark, whilst retaining a sense of community. The care home has yet to be named and Country Court is asking for suggestions from people in the local area, suggestions can be emailed to marketing@countrycourtcare.com.

The facilities in the home will be designed to make life comfortable and enjoyable, allowing people to live safely and as they choose; there will be numerous communal lounge and dining areas, roof terrace and themed activity spaces.

Bedroom

Our 99 bedrooms at our nursing home in Camberwell will be bright, light and comfortable. People will be able to personalise their rooms with belongings that are meaningful to them. All rooms come with private en-suite, walk-in shower rooms.

Dining Room

Our dining rooms are clean, bright and inviting, residents are encouraged to take their meals in the shared dining areas in the company of their friends. Tables are set ready for each meal, just as you would expect in a restaurant and front of house staff are on hand to serve and assist with meals as required.

Lounges

Our lounge areas are tastefully decorated with attention to detail in the design and layout that makes you feel instantly at home. Residents can settle in their favourite chair or join their friends on the sofa for a chat over a cup of tea. Families and visitors are welcome to join residents in the lounge, residents can take part in group activities or just enjoy quietly reading or watching TV.

Hair & Beauty

Residents will love a trip to the salon to see the hairdresser or barber, maintaining one of life's routines is so good for well-being. For many residents, a set and blow-dry is part of their weekly calendar, our beauty bar will feature a nail painting area and make-up for special occasions.

Pub

Our in-home pubs are one of our most popular facilities. Whether it's a half-pint of bitter, orange juice or a glass of wine, an hour in the pub is a real social occasion. Our pub will be a place for our residents to enjoy life, to be able to relax and share good times with friends, as they always have done.

Cinema

Movie night will be a weekly highlight at our care home. Whether it's a classic or recent feature film, our residents will choose the films and settle down with popcorn and drinks to enjoy their favourite movie. Our quiet lounge has been designed fro the comfort of all residents to ensure those with sight and hearing difficulties can enjoy the experience too.

Fine Dining Experience

We know that quality nutritious food can make a real difference to our residents’ health and well being. Country Court Care Chefs work closely with the care team to understand the needs and preferences of each resident.

We like to involve our residents in developing the weekly menus and regularly use vegetables and herbs grown in our garden. Fresh cakes are available daily in our coffee shop for residents to enjoy with their visitors. We ensure that we ask for feedback by speaking to residents regularly about their meals.
