Castle Lodge Care Home - Opening Autumn 2025

Castle Lodge is a brand-new care home located in the picturesque village of Mere, close to Shaftesbury and Warminster. Our beautiful home will offer residential and specialist dementia care in a peaceful setting, providing a safe, secure and rewarding lifestyle for those with a variety of needs. The luxury facilities at Castle Lodge will be comparable to those of a high-end hotel, while our staff will get to know each resident personally, meaning everyone is looked after as part of the family.

Activities and well-being are part of life at the care home, from chair-based exercise, arts and crafts, or simply getting together with friends and family in our bistro cafe. We understand that everyone is different, so we plan both group and one-to-one activities depending on people's preferences. These leisure activities go hand in hand with our personalised care to make our home their home, ensuring everyone gets the most out of life at Castle Lodge.

Our passion for food

Mealtimes are a social occasion at Castle Lodge. Our Chefs produce a wonderful range of dishes, catering to our residents’ tastes and care plans. Our Head Chef regularly consults residents when planning menus and can often be found chatting with people in the dining room and getting feedback first-hand.

We plate all our meals, as you would at home, for an enjoyable and dignified dining experience, while ensuring each meal has the right nutrients and benefits. We’re passionate about eating at Castle Lodge Care Home in Wiltshire, which is a real culinary experience – we even have our own Instagram account showcasing our delicious daily menus.
