We want our residents to enjoy life, to be able to relax and share good times with friends, as they always have done.
Our spa bathrooms on each floor offer calm, relaxing spaces where residents can enjoy a soothing and comfortable bathing experience. With gentle lighting, a TV, and a calming twinkle ceiling.
For many of our residents, spending time in the garden is their favourite pastime. We also have our Annual Country Court in Bloom competition which sparks a lot of joy – and rivalry! Residents enjoy sharing out gardening tasks, the more green-fingered having their own personal flowerbeds or vegetable patches to tend.
Wendy has extensive experience as a Registered Manager in both care and nursing homes. Wendy joins Castle Lodge from Stanton Court Nursing Home, where she’s been Home Manager since 2006. Wendy is passionate about providing the highest standards of care and support. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and experience, as well as getting to know our residents and their families in Mere.
