Lakeview Lodge Care Home is a purpose-built care home in Bletchley. Our home is fully equipped to provide our residents with care and support in a luxurious and comfortable environment. Our residents lead a full and active social life making the most of the pub, cinema, cafe and garden in our care home in Milton Keynes.
All of our sixty-five bedrooms at Lakeview Lodge are tastefully and comfortably furnished with plenty of scope for people to bring their personal belongings to make the space their own. All rooms are en-suite with walk-in shower rooms to promote dignity and privacy for every resident.
Lakeview Lodge takes its’ name from the fact that our first-floor lounge and dining room overlooks Little Willow Lake; home to many different wild birds and other animals, the lake is a beautiful outlook for our residents to enjoy. All our communal areas are bright, airy and uplifting with plenty of places to sit and look out of the window or socialise with friends.
Our dining rooms are spacious and bright welcoming places for our residents to enjoy sociable mealtimes with their friends. Tables are set ready for the coming meal, just as you would expect at home or in a restaurant. Our hospitality staff are on hand to ensure residents can enjoy their meals in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
Our Enigma café is the bright, vibrant hub of the home with tea, coffee, cakes and bakes served throughout the day. Residents find it an ideal place to entertain relatives, meet up with their friends for morning coffee or invite local community groups and residents from other care homes in Bletchley to join them for events and charity coffee mornings.
We love to see children in our home and our family room provides a relaxed and private space for residents to entertain their family. Younger children can enjoy games and activities whilst older ones can take advantage of the Wi-fi and TV – we want everyone to feel at home here at Lakeview Lodge.
For more formal or special family occasions, families can take advantage of our private dining room. The dining room will be your space for the day to relax & enjoy time with family and friends, just as you would at home. Our chef & hospitality team will make birthdays & anniversaries truly special & memorable occasions. The cost is dependent on the number of guests attending & your chosen menu.
Not many people can go to the Cinema without leaving the comfort of their home. It’s a much-loved space with residents, who enjoy regular movie nights. We’ve got a great variety of films and residents are not shy about requesting their favourites. Our cinema rooms are specially adapted for those with sight and hearing difficulties, so they can enjoy the full cinema experience too.
Our residents love their weekly trip to our hair salon to see the hairdresser or barber, and it’s so good for well-being. Our residents also have the luxury of their very own nail bar and spa room for a complete beauty and well-being experience.
Our shop is in our very own village street area where residents can come and purchase essentials such as toiletries and snacks. They can rest a while on the benches outside, just as you would if you'd popped down to the shops in your own town or village. We also have a library where residents can browse and choose from our collection of books.
For many of our residents, spending time in the garden is their favourite pastime, whether it’s sitting in the afternoon sun, playing outdoor games or tending the garden - there is always plenty to encourage our residents to enjoy the outdoors. Our garden is accessible and dementia-friendly, with raised beds for planting and sensory plants and flowers for everyone to enjoy.
Sharon is our Customer Relations Manager and has worked at Lakeview Lodge Care Home for two years, previously as our Receptionist. Sharon is passionate about person-centred care and looks forward to meeting you.
Our Deputy Managers and Senior Care Team lead our team of carers to provide the highest standards of care and support for residents day and night.
Tilly is our Hospitality Lead and is responsible for our Front of House Team. Together they ensure that residents have refreshments throughout the day. They keep our home looking at its’ best and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.
Maria Nelson-Addy is our Home Manager at Lakeview Lodge Care Home. Maria has many years of experience managing care homes, she is passionate about caring for older people and strives to deliver the very best person-centred care. Her door is always open, and she looks forward to welcoming you and your loved ones to the Lakeview family
