Specialist care homes in Bletchley

Situated on the edge of the Newton Leys, and overlooking the beautiful Little Willow Lake in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire, Lakeview Lodge Care Home provides family-value led residential and dementia care in a quiet residential area. Rated 'Good' by CQC, with 'Outstanding' for Responsiveness, the care at our home is centred around the safety, happiness and well-being of each of our residents. This is reflected in our person-centred approach, taking time to get to know and understand our residents, particularly those living with dementia.

Our purpose-built luxury facilities facilitate our daily activities programme, where residents can enjoy films in our cinema room, sociable activities such as baking in the café or get outdoors in the garden. All of these activities are great for mental well-being and our highly trained staff are on hand to offer round-the-clock support, making life comfortable and enjoyable for those living with us and offer peace of mind for loved ones. To find out more, feel free to call us on 01908 641 200 or visit the Lakeview Family at any time.

Bedrooms

All of our sixty-five bedrooms at Lakeview Lodge are tastefully and comfortably furnished with plenty of scope for people to bring their personal belongings to make the space their own. All rooms are en-suite with walk-in shower rooms to promote dignity and privacy for every resident.

Lounge

Lakeview Lodge takes its’ name from the fact that our first-floor lounge and dining room overlooks Little Willow Lake; home to many different wild birds and other animals, the lake is a beautiful outlook for our residents to enjoy. All our communal areas are bright, airy and uplifting with plenty of places to sit and look out of the window or socialise with friends.

Dining Room

Our dining rooms are spacious and bright welcoming places for our residents to enjoy sociable mealtimes with their friends. Tables are set ready for the coming meal, just as you would expect at home or in a restaurant. Our hospitality staff are on hand to ensure residents can enjoy their meals in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Cafe

Our Enigma café is the bright, vibrant hub of the home with tea, coffee, cakes and bakes served throughout the day. Residents find it an ideal place to entertain relatives, meet up with their friends for morning coffee or invite local community groups and residents from other care homes in Bletchley to join them for events and charity coffee mornings.

Family Room

We love to see children in our home and our family room provides a relaxed and private space for residents to entertain their family. Younger children can enjoy games and activities whilst older ones can take advantage of the Wi-fi and TV – we want everyone to feel at home here at Lakeview Lodge.

Private Dining Room

For more formal or special family occasions, families can take advantage of our private dining room. The dining room will be your space for the day to relax & enjoy time with family and friends, just as you would at home. Our chef & hospitality team will make birthdays & anniversaries truly special & memorable occasions. The cost is dependent on the number of guests attending & your chosen menu.

Cinema

Not many people can go to the Cinema without leaving the comfort of their home. It’s a much-loved space with residents, who enjoy regular movie nights. We’ve got a great variety of films and residents are not shy about requesting their favourites. Our cinema rooms are specially adapted for those with sight and hearing difficulties, so they can enjoy the full cinema experience too.

Hair & Beauty

Our residents love their weekly trip to our hair salon to see the hairdresser or barber, and it’s so good for well-being. Our residents also have the luxury of their very own nail bar and spa room for a complete beauty and well-being experience.

Shop

Our shop is in our very own village street area where residents can come and purchase essentials such as toiletries and snacks. They can rest a while on the benches outside, just as you would if you'd popped down to the shops in your own town or village.

Garden

For many of our residents, spending time in the garden is their favourite pastime, whether it’s sitting in the afternoon sun, playing outdoor games or tending the garden - there is always plenty to encourage our residents to enjoy the outdoors. Our garden is accessible and dementia-friendly, with raised beds for planting and sensory plants and flowers for everyone to enjoy.

Our passion for food

Mealtimes are a social occasion at Lakeview Lodge. We have our own kitchen, where our cooks produce a wonderful range of menus, catering to our residents’ tastes and care plans. Our chef, Ian regularly consults residents when planning menus and can often be found chatting with residents in the dining room and getting feedback first-hand. We plate all our meals, as you would at home, for an enjoyable and dignified dining experience. We’re passionate that eating at Lakeview Lodge Care Home is a real culinary experience – we even have our own Instagram account showcasing our delicious daily menus.
