Tallington Lodge Care Home is an award-winning state-of-the-art care home near Stamford. Designed to provide a comfortable and luxurious home for our residents, luxury en-suite rooms, Gallery Cafe, pub and of course our beautiful courtyard garden are just a few of the highlights. Residents also have the benefit of the on-site hair and pamper salon.
Our sixty bedrooms at Tallington Lodge are both luxurious and comfortable, tastefully furnished, and all have walk-in, en-suite wet rooms. Residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings, which often become talking points especially for those new to our home. There is a choice of bedrooms all with their own personality and features and decorated to a very high standard.
The Railway Inn is one of our most popular facilities, opening out on to a roof-top terrace - it’s a fun and welcoming destination within our care home. Whether it’s a half-pint of bitter, fruit juice or a glass of wine, an hour in the pub is a real social occasion. We want our residents to enjoy life, to be able to relax and share good times with friends, just as they always have done.
The Gallery café serves hot and cold beverages, as well as delicious cakes and there are snacks available around the clock. Our cafe is popular with both residents and people from the local community in Tallington village. Our café is an ideal place for residents to meet with friends and family, as well as hosting regular special events and charity coffee mornings.
For many of our residents, spending time in the garden is their favourite way of passing the time. With a choice of outdoor spaces, residents enjoy time in our enclosed courtyard sitting area or out in the garden taking in the view from our boathouse. For more green-fingered residents, there is the opportunity to take responsibility for their own pots, planters and veg patches.
Our residents love a trip to the salon to see the hairdresser, for many of our residents a set and blow-dry is part of their weekly calendar. Our luxurious salon makes their visit even more special.
Our stunning Burghley Suite is both luxurious and comfortable, taking full advantage of the original features of the home, with exposed stone walls and full-height windows that truly deliver the wow factor. The Welland Suite opens out to the internal courtyard, where residents join friends for a cup of tea and cake – there is an inviting home from home atmosphere throughout our dementia care home.
Manju has worked for Country Court Care for ten years in various roles, including Senior Carer, Deputy Manager and Manager and now the Home Manager at Tallington Care Home. Manju has very high standards for caring for our residents; in fact, in 2012 she was a finalist at the Great British Care Awards. She has an open-door approach and welcomes visitors to Tallington at any time.
