Staff and residents at Ferrars Hall Care Home recently enjoyed a glamorous Oscars themed party to celebrate Country Court movie month, celebrating 60 years of James Bond.
The residents embraced the spirit of the theme and organised a party and movie afternoon. Activity Coordinator Joanna along with the residents created table decorations for the afternoon such as napkin bow ties, Oscars awards and golden stars.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious home cooked roast dinner with champagne to follow. Tables were set with the handmade decorations and residents received a formal invitation to the event.
“We all had a fabulous time.” Said Activity Coordinator Joanna. “Greta loved the fabulous meal, it was great to see everyone smiling and enjoying the day. Residents Val and Myra were both so excited when they saw all their decoration on the tables. Anne commented on how much she loved all the sparkles said she found the event very fancy!”
Residents at Ferrars Hall are lucky enough to have an on-site cinema, after the party finished they settled down to watch a James Bond Film. Everyone enjoyed popcorn and olives to snack on throughout the movie. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon celebrating 60 years of James Bond.
