Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon is pleased to announce that they have recently been awarded the gold-level award from Ageing Allies for their monthly community coffee mornings. These coffee mornings provide a warm, safe, and friendly environment for everyone in the surrounding areas of Huntingdon.

Ageing Allies is a wonderful initiative that celebrates and supports the work of charities, organisations, and businesses that help older people in Cambridgeshire. They said: ‘We want to thank everyone who nominated and voted for any of the amazing groups that we have been able to highlight through this process. The response has been fantastic, and we are delighted to have discovered so much incredible work being done for older people in Cambridgeshire.’

'Our Coffee Mornings are very important to us here at Ferrars Hall because they enable our residents and their local community to stay involved and connected. As a care provider, we also want to offer a regular, safe, and welcoming space for people living in the community who may need some support or company.' 'Our next community coffee morning will be held on Tuesday 26th of December from 10 am - 12 noon. Then on every last Tuesday of month thereafter. Everyone is welcome to join us for tea, coffee, fresh cake, and a friendly chat.' Commented Well-being Coordinator Pat.
