Our Home

Located in a quiet residential area of South West London, Carter House Care Home is a purpose-built care home, fully equipped to provide residential and dementia care in a dignified manner. Recently refurbished throughout, the tastefully decorated communal areas are bright and welcoming and residents enjoy the benefits of an on-site hair salon and well-maintained garden.

Bedrooms

Our bedrooms are spacious, cheerful and comfortable; rooms are en-suite and have been designed with the privacy and comfort of our residents in mind. Whether your loved one prefers to spend time in their room or in the communal areas, everyone receives one-to-one care and attention.

Lounge & Dining

Our newly refurbished ground floor lounge is fresh, bright and a pleasure to spend time in - whether it’s relaxing in style, enjoying sociable activities or entertaining visitors. Our dining areas are tastefully furnished, clean and inviting, ideal for making mealtimes a sociable occasion.

Cinema

Movie night is a a weekly highlight at our new care home. Whether it's a classic or recent feature film, our residents choose the films and settle down with popcorn and drinks to enjoy their favourite movie. Our quiet lounge has been designed for the comfort of all residents to ensure those with sight and hearing difficulties can enjoy the experience too.

Pub

Our in-home pub is one of our most popular facilities. Whether it's a half-pint of bitter, orange juice or a glass of wine, an hour in the pub is a real social occasion. Our pub is a place for our residents to enjoy life, to be able to relax and share good times with friends, as they always have done.

Hair & Beauty

A trip to the salon to the see the hairdresser is always a highlight and for residents at Carter House this is a weekly occasion. For many of our residents, a set and blow-dry is a weekly treat - it’s so good for well-being and helps keep life’s familiar routines. Our in-house salon also features a beauty bar to offer pampering for those special occasions.

Garden

We love getting out into our garden at Carter House and are lucky enough to have a secure and accessible space for our residents to make their own, which is not often said in London! Our residents enjoy taking part in the annual Country Court In Bloom competition, getting quite competitive with their hanging baskets, planters and vegetables.

Fine Dining Experience

At Carter House Care Home, all our food is created by our in-house chefs with the aim of putting tasty food on the table at every meal. Our menus are updated on a weekly basis, offering variety and nutrition, while our chefs are always happy to make dishes to order.

Each dish is individually plated by the Chef and presented to restaurant standards, and our hospitality team are on hand to look after residents at each meal. They’re also available throughout the day, providing drinks and snacks to keep everyone refreshed.

Customer Relations Manager

Alex is our Customer Relations Manager at Carter House and is the first point of contact for residents’ families and all new enquiries. Alex is friendly, helpful and happy to answer any questions about choosing a care home or moving to Carter House.
