Our 64 bedrooms are spacious, airy and comfortable, complete with en-suite and have been designed to meet both the healthcare and privacy needs of our residents. We encourage people to personalise their rooms with familiar personal belongings, which helps residents to settle quickly into the Woodlands House family and give their loved one's peace of mind.
Our dining areas are tastefully furnished, clean, bright and inviting. Residents are encouraged to join their friends and make mealtimes a social occasion in a comfortable and relaxed setting.
Newly refurbished, our fresh, bright new lounges are a pleasure to spend time in - whether it’s relaxing in style, enjoying sociable activities or entertaining visitors. Each floor of the home has numerous seating areas to choose from, residents can move around the home and enjoy each different area.
Our wonderful new pub is a popular destination for both residents and visitors, whether it's a for a drink and a bar snack or to enjoy a game of cards or darts it's a great place to relax with friends and family.
A trip to the hairdressers is always great for giving spirits a boost, our in-house salon means that our residents can enjoy a regular pampering session whilst chatting to our friendly stylists.
Edmund is an experienced care home manager, with a wealth of knowledge of the care sector. He is committed and passionate about getting to know each resident and their family individually in order to deliver the highest standards of individualised care.
Katelyn is the Senior Customer Relations Manager here at Woodlands House. Katelyn really loves getting to know the residents and their families and making Lyle House a home from home. She loves helping new residents settle in and seeing them flourish as they get to know the other residents.
Lucie is our wonderful Deputy Manager, she has worked at Woodlands House since 2007 and loves getting to know our residents and their families.
Juliana began her career as Chef in 2003 and was promoted to Chef Manager in 2009 where she developed a keen interest in healthcare nutrition. Juliana is passionate about good wholesome cooking and making sure each one of her residents’ likes are met along with their dietary needs. She is always keen to get feedback from residents directly and will often chat with residents in the dining room after meals to get feedback.
Barbara is one of our Care Assistants at Woodlands House, she loves spending time with our residents and seeing them happy and smiling.
Pauline is a Care Assistant at Woodlands House, she's worked at the care home for over eight years and is enjoying seeing the home being refurbished and the residents happy in their new surroundings.
