The 52 bedrooms at The Grove are bright, comfortable and homely, with many having their own kitchenette and en-suite shower. Residents’ dignity and privacy is always respected, with carers getting to know preferences for entering people’s rooms. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their belongings, helping them feel at home with us.
Our lounge and dining areas are comfortable and tastefully furnished, making you feel instantly relaxed. Residents can settle in their favourite chair or join their friends for a chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit, just as you would at home. Our light and airy dining area is clean and bright, with tables set ready to give residents a dignified and comfortable dining experience.
We encourage our residents to continue to enjoy their hobbies and pastimes, so, for those who have appreciated spending time in the garden, we continue to offer that opportunity here at The Grove Care Home in Grimsby. Our terrace overlooks beautiful parkland and is a favourite place for residents to sit in the summer months
Our residents love a trip to the salon to see the hairdresser or barber, it’s so good for well- being. For many of them, a set and blow dry are part of their weekly calendar, and our Activity team are happy to paint nails and offer hand pampering to top off our well-being offer.
Kelly is our committed and dedicated Home Manager she is enthusiastic about promoting individual choice for residents, allowing them to feel empowered and independent. Kelly operates an open-door policy and welcomes families and residents to pop in any time for a chat over a cup of tea.
Ros has over twenty years’ experience in the private healthcare sector, working as a District Nurse and in Community Hospitals. Ros ensures that anyone looking for care for their loved ones receives a warm welcome, she is there every step of the way to help you understand your care options. Ros also organises events and talks to encourage the local community to visit our Grimsby care home.
Stacey joined The Grove Care Home in 2018, she always goes the extra mile to ensure all residents are included in activities at our care home in Waltham. She is always keen to bring local people into the home, from pre-school children to pets and therapy dogs, which never fail to bring a smile to the faces of our residents and enable people to retain their links to the community in Grimsby.
Sue is our fantastic Administrator; she keeps our home running smoothly. Sue has worked at The Grove for over ten years and is a familiar face for anyone visiting. She enjoys chatting with residents and will often pop to the shops and run errands for them too.
