St John’s Care Home in Spalding has shown its appreciation for local emergency service responders in and around Spalding with a Blue Light Breakfast offering. Local Paramedics, District Nurses, and Firefighters attended the free breakfast earlier this month.
Staff at St John's were on hand to serve Breakfast baps, teas, and coffee made fresh on arrival by the kitchen team to fuel up emergency responders for the day or at the end of their shift for a pick me up.
Sean Compton and his crew from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue joined residents and staff at the end of a busy night and kindly treated them all to a tour of the fire engine, along with a photo opportunity.
Sean thanked the team at St John's with a comment on Facebook.
"It was an absolute pleasure and great to meet you all. Thank you for your hospitality we really enjoyed it”.
