Residents at Fenchurch House welcomed visitors to a successful summer fair

Residents at Fenchurch House Care Home were delighted to welcome friends, family and visitors to their care home for a successful summer fete. Visitors enjoyed stalls, games and refreshments and were entertained by local guitarist Antonio. Stalls included a raffle, candles, local crafts and toys. There was a variety of refreshments and the BBQ provided by the homes’ catering team with Country Court Chairman Mr Kachra on-hand to help with the cooking.

We had a wonderful afternoon,” said Home Manager, Nike Ajewole, “We’d like to thank everyone who came along and supported our event. We were so pleased to open our doors for the first time since the pandemic and are very grateful for each person who came to celebrate our beautiful home and residents. Our residents had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed seeing lots of people in the garden enjoying the music and sunshine”.

The event was organised by Wellbeing Coordinator Fawzia Giga who was delighted with the turnout and family atmosphere. “It’s great to be able to welcome people back to our home, it’s so important for our residents to feel part of the community here in Spalding and we hope to have lots more events like this in the future.
