Selwood House Care Home located in Charlton Down, is excited to announce its upcoming Christmas Fayre fundraiser on Saturday 9th December from 2pm – 4pm. This special event is dedicated to raising funds for the Dorset County Hospital Charity.
Selwood House is a brand-new luxury care home specialising in Residential Care, Dementia Care and Respite Care. Customer Relations Manager, Ben commented on the fayre.
“It's great to be hosting the Christmas Fayre at Selwood House Care Home for the Dorset County Hospital Charity and we are thrilled to announce a grand raffle, with prizes generously donated by a range of local businesses, including Charlton Down Cricket Club, The Gamekeeper pub in Charminster, Charlton Down Health & Fitness Club, Kooky Bloom, No.36 and Naturalife. The raffle presents a fantastic opportunity for attendees to win fabulous prizes while supporting a noble cause.
We're really looking forward to supporting our local hospital and businesses through this event. It's all about bringing people together - our local businesses, residents, and everyone who wants to help. We've got lots of fun things planned like festive treats, a lovely choir performance, and some great prizes to win. All of this is for a good cause. Your help and participation really mean a lot to us, and it makes a big difference for the charity and the people they help.”
The highlight of the event will be a heartwarming choir performance by St Mary's Charminster, set to fill the air with festive cheer. Additionally, our fun-filled tombola will offer more chances to win exciting prizes.
