Residents and staff at Westfield Care & Nursing Home in Boston recently held their Christmas party complete with festive entertainment, food and games. They were joined by a violinist who played the greatest Christmas hits. A strong Christmas favourite was ‘Jingle Bells’ as the residents knew all the words. Residents were able to request their favourite songs with ABBA being the most popular request. Staff, families and residents all enjoyed dancing and singing the afternoon away getting into the festive spirit in the lead up to Christmas 2022.
At the party everyone wore their best Christmas attire, staff included. Activity coordinator Gwen took on the role of Mrs Claus. Everyone was truly wrapped up in the festive spirit.

Residents also danced in a circle holding hands getting all the families and staff involved on the dance floor at their party. After the singing and dancing had ended residents and families dove into a delicious buffet spread which was made by Chef Andrew Herriott and his kitchen team. The afternoon was a great success and residents would like to thank activity coordinator Erika and Gwen for a brilliant time.
