Our Home

Lostock Lodge Care Home features a choice of sociable areas for residents to enjoy, from the busy café to the quiet garden room. Our purpose-built care home in Northwich is fully equipped to provide excellent personal care. Residents enjoy regular visits to the hair salon, cinema and of course our garden is a favourite.

Bedrooms

All of our sixty-six bedrooms at Lostock Lodge are tastefully and comfortably furnished with plenty of scope for people to bring their own belongings to make the space their own. All rooms are spacious and en-suite with walk-in shower rooms to promote dignity and privacy.

Garden Room

Our Garden Room is a quiet lounge for people who prefer to sit quietly and read, enjoy a family visit or just enjoy the views out into our garden. Tastefully furnished, the décor really ‘brings the outside in’ enabling everyone to enjoy the garden from comfortable surroundings.

Family Room

We love to see children in our home and our family room provides a relaxed and private space for residents to entertain their family. Younger children can enjoy games and activities whilst older ones can take advantage of the free Wi-fi and TV – we want everyone to feel at home at Lostock Lodge.

Cinema

Movie night is a weekly highlight at Lostock Lodge, from classics and family favourites we’re always taking requests from our residents. Our cinema rooms are specially designed for the comfort of all residents to ensure those with sight and hearing difficulties can enjoy the cinema experience too.

Garden

Gardening is one of the most popular past times at Lostock Lodge, we encourage our residents to get out as much as possible. Residents enjoy divvying up gardening tasks and have become a source of much pride as the produce regularly makes its way onto our dinner plates. Outside areas are spacious and secure, with plenty of room for a walk or to simply sit and watch the world go by.

Hair & Beauty

Our residents love a trip to the salon to enjoy a set and blow-dry as part of their weekly calendar. Everyone comes out smiling after a trip to the hairdresser or barbers. Our elegant salon is so good for well-being whether it’s a spot of nail painting, hand pampering or a full makeover for those special occasions.

Private Dining Room

Our private dining room at Lostock Lodge is the perfect space to enjoy special family occasions. Available for lunch or dinner, this will be your space for the day to relax and enjoy time with family and friends, as you would at home. Our chef and hospitality team will be on hand, providing a bespoke menu to make birthdays and anniversaries truly memorable occasions.

Resident-led dining experiences

Quality, nutritious and delicious food makes a real difference to our residents’ health and well- being. This is why our chef, Simon, works closely with our care teams to understand the needs and preferences of all who live with us.

We like to involve our residents in developing the weekly menus and regularly use vegetables and herbs grown in our garden. Fresh cakes are available daily in our coffee shop for residents to enjoy.

Steph Molden

Home Manager

Steph is committed and passionate about getting to know each resident and their family individually in order to deliver the highest standards of individualised care. She is passionate about promoting individual choice for residents, allowing them to feel empowered. Steph operates an open-door policy and welcomes families and residents to pop in any time for a chat over a cup of tea.

Simon Bullock

Chef Manager

Simon has worked in the care sector for 7 years and is passionate about using the best quality ingredients to create wholesome dishes for his residents. He understands that, for some people, mealtimes are the highlight of their day. Simon was nominated for the Chef Manager Award at the North West region Great British Care Awards 2019.

Activities

Activities Team

Our Wellbeing team will take time to get to know each of our residents individually to provide a range of activities that will be meaningful for each person. Paula, Laura, Becky and Kerry are responsible for getting to know everyone and making sure our home is happy and vibrant with a variety of activities to choose from. From crafts and baking to dancing and gardening there is always something different for everyone to enjoy.
