To celebrate its’ grand opening, Camberwell Lodge Care & Nursing Home is to host a public Open Day on Saturday 14th May from 10 am until 4 pm. Located in the Borough of Southwark, South-East London, Camberwell Lodge will specialise in nursing care, residential care, dementia care and short-term respite care for up to ninety-eight people. Local people are invited to meet the staff team, take a tour of the home and sample food from the mouth-watering menus. The state-of-the-art care and nursing home will provide an affordable luxury care offering in Southwark, whilst retaining a sense of community.
Co-CEO, Alykhan Kachra explains “We are delighted to be welcoming families to Camberwell Lodge Care & Nursing Home. As a family-run company, we aim to create a ‘home from home’ feel in our homes and our care is the kind we’d want all of our loved ones to receive.”
Staff will be on hand to show visitors around the care home which boasts its’ very own cricket-themed pub, hair salon, library, reminiscing room and activity area. The facilities in the home have been designed to make life comfortable and enjoyable, allowing people to live safely and as they choose. The ninety-eight bedrooms have been designed to be relaxing, spacious and comfortable; all bedrooms feature en-suite walk- in shower rooms. Each floor has its own lounge and dining areas, residents will be able to enjoy afternoon tea with their guests and visitors or relax and socialise with friends. The top floor of the home features the hospitality suite with a private dining room, bistro café and spectacular roof terrace garden all featuring stunning views of the London skyline.
Camberwell Lodge will be managed by Beata Gozdur. She brings many years of experience in the care sector both as a Home Manager and Regional Manager with various leading healthcare groups. Beata is very excited to be commissioning our brand-new care & nursing home in Southwark and is looking forward to meeting the residents and their families.
