On Friday, 12th April, Carpenders Park Care Home, near Watford, was officially opened by the Chairman of Three Rivers Council, Raj Khiroya. Cllr Khiroya cut the ribbon together with Home Manager Claire Masterson and Country Court Co-CEOs Al-Karim Kachra and Alykhan Kachra. Carpenders Park Care Home is the latest care home to be opened by the award-winning Peterborough-based care home operator and will provide residential and dementia care for up to seventy-six people.
Throughout the weekend visitors were welcomed to the care home which sits in scenic countryside on the outskirts of Carpenders Park near Watford. The opening of the care home by its new operator Country Court has been highly anticipated in the local area. Country Court has forty-seven care and nursing homes across the UK with a forty-year track record of providing luxury person-centred residential and specialist dementia care.
Chairman Raj Khiroya said “I am delighted to be invited today to witness what a wonderful addition this Care Home will be to our local community near Watford. I am so proud of what this care home has to offer, and I can safely say that this home will be nothing but a success. I would like to book my stay now!”.
On the day, staff were delighted to offer tours, food, and live music to visitors from the local community. One visitor commented “It’s wonderful to finally see this magnificent building in use and to see how beautiful the facilities are. It’s like a 5-star hotel inside. You would never believe this land used to be a dairy farm”.
