Recently at Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon staff and residents hosted a coffee morning for their local community to join them for a chat, tea, coffee and freshly made cakes.
‘Our coffee mornings at Ferrars Hall are a great opportunity for our residents to socialise with people from the local area in and around Huntingdon. We are always looking for ways to tackle loneliness in elderly people so this a way to give the local community a safe space to enjoy and connect with others. We host these Coffee Mornings on the last Tuesday of every month. Our next one will be held on the 27th of June and everyone is welcome to come along.’ Commented Customer Relations Manager Chloe Kenna.
‘We have met so many people each time at these Coffee Mornings, our residents’ families are also very much involved in these mornings as we consider ourselves one big family here at Ferrars Hall.’ Commented Home Manager Susan Dunnell.
