Recently at Hermitage House Care Home in Thrapston the staff team & residents held their very first community coffee morning. Everyone was welcome to join staff and residents for tea, coffee, and freshly made cakes at our brand-new care home. The staff team also offered tours of the home to show off the much awaited newly built home.
Vivian, Sheila & Peter from the Thrapston U3A all commented ‘how lovely the coffee morning had been’ and how ‘they can’t wait to see how we can involve residents into our community groups.’
‘The community coffee morning was a great success. We saw people from our local community wanting to get involved with our home more often, especially with gardening for our Country Court in Bloom initiative.’ commented Home Manager Clare Hedge.
‘We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming people from various local community groups to our coffee morning and look forward to making it a regular event here at Hermitage House. We would also like to thank local businesses who donated a prize for our raffle. Our coffee mornings are open to everyone locally so we hope people will come along to the next one’ commented Customer Relations Manager Sharon Guntrip.
