Moat House Care Home Launch Community Coffee Mornings

Moat House Care Home in Great Easton launched their community coffee mornings with a festive spin.  Staff were delighted to welcome local people from the surrounding villages, Claire & Angela from The 5-parish magazine, and residents from Moat Park Retirement Village. Guests were spoilt for choice with entertainment, festive food, and drink throughout the morning.

The first of many coffee mornings -

Our coffee morning was a huge success. We had a festive set list of songs performed by special guest singer Ryan Hornett. The atmosphere was so lovely, people were up dancing, and there was an array of delicious food on offer made by our wonderful Chef Manager Mahidhar Simham.’ Commented Customer Relations Manager George Byford.

Everyone we welcomed into our home interacted with one another so well. They went from being strangers to friends by the end of the coffee morning. It’s been great to create such a social and welcoming environment for our local community to embark upon.’ Commented Client Services Manager Franco Greffon.

Positive feedback from guests -

‘I thought the coffee morning was great fun. We were singing, I was doing all my hand movements and exercising my arms in the process. The mince pies were also a wonderful touch.’ Commented guest Barabara.

Barbara’s friend Diane also commented ‘It’s so good to see Barbara in a social setting like this. It’s what she’s needed. She’s blossoming right now.'

I’ve had a delightful morning performing at Moat House’s coffee morning. It was nice to see people engaging and dancing to the songs. I was especially moved by guest Barabara who was sat in the front row. I could see she was enjoying the festive songs’ Commented Ryan Hornett.

Following this coffee morning we hope for many more successes and opportunities for Moat House Care Home. I'm also looking forward to our next community event that we can welcome guests to.’ Commented Customer Relations Manager George Byford.
