The newly opened Ruby Lodge Care Home in Thirsk is excited to host its first community coffee morning on Friday, 8th November 2024, from 10 am to 12 noon. Our local community from Thirsk and the surrounding areas are welcome to join us for a relaxing morning of socialising with our residents while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and freshly baked cakes. These coffee mornings will become a regular monthly event, held on the first Friday of each month from 10 am to 12 noon.
Ruby Lodge Care Home is designed to accommodate up to seventy residents, providing a luxurious yet homely environment. Our care home offers person-centred residential and specialist dementia care across three floors, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
“We're excited to welcome the community into our home for regular coffee mornings, following the success of our Grand Opening last month, which was supported by the Mayor of Thirsk, Councillor Andrew Trueman, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. After meeting so many locals at the event, we know this is something the community would truly appreciate. Our coffee mornings are designed to offer a warm and supportive space for everyone,” said Home Manager Holly Hunton.
Customer Relations Manager Kirsten Idle added, ‘“We aim to recreate the wonderful atmosphere our Grand Opening created during these monthly gatherings. Whether you are part of the local neighbourhood, a family member, or just interested to see what Ruby Lodge has to offer, these Coffee Mornings are open to everyone. Feel free to drop by for a chat, tour our state-of-the-art facilities, and connect with others in our community.”
