Residents and staff at St John’s Care Home are looking forward to welcoming people from the local community in Spalding to their Open House and Afternoon Tea event on Friday 28th February.
Visitors to the home will receive a warm welcome at the residential care home on Hawthorn Bank between 3pm and 6pm, where they will be able to join residents and staff for afternoon tea.
The afternoon tea is being held to celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished lounge and dining area on the first floor of the residential and dementia care home. Visitors are welcome to take a tour of the home, meet the staff team and residents and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
St John’s is home to up to 55 people, it is both comfortable and luxurious whilst retaining a warm family feel and features its very own pub, hair salon and bistro café. The downstairs lounge and dining areas are tastefully decorated making the most of the period features of the original Rectory building.
