Residents at St John’s Care Home in Spalding were delighted to welcome friends, family, and visitors to their care home for a day of entertainment and delicious food. St John’s hosted their Summer Fete this weekend, raising over £300 for their resident’s comfort fund which will go towards extra special day trips and outings.
Residents and visitors relaxed whilst enjoying entertainment from Antoine, a local singer and had a wonderful BBQ in the sunshine. There were craft stalls selling sweets, ornaments and books, and games like ‘water or wine’ to win bottles of wine. The catering team from St John’s Care Home provided a fabulous buffet and refreshments for everyone to enjoy.
“We had a wonderful afternoon,” said Home Manager, Natalie Parnham. “We’d like to thank everyone who came along and supported our event. Our residents had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed welcoming so many visitors to our home. It was wonderful to be out in the garden enjoying the music and sunshine”.
