At Stanton Court Care & Nursing Home in Stanton Drew, Deputy Manager Charlotte Taylor and Housekeeper Sophie Williams have challenged themselves to climb Mount Snowdon in June 2023. They will sleep overnight in a tent on the summit before descending. Their goal is to raise money for their residents’ comfort fund.
‘Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will enable us to provide additional meaningful opportunities and activities for our residents’ commented Duty Manager Charlotte Taylor.
‘Our residents have been helping Charlotte and Sophie to prepare for their climb by using their crafting skills to decorate t-shirts with handprints and motivational messages to help them through their climb’ commented Home Manager Wendy Perkins. ‘Everyone is very excited about the challenge and keen to see how they get on.’
‘Stanton Court and our residents mean so much to us, so we wanted to give back to them by doing this sponsored climb. By raising some extra money for our residents’ comfort fund, we hope to treat them to an extra special day trip. We hope to make them all proud’ commented Housekeeper Sophie Williams.
