Three Country Court Care Homes have been successfully nominated for inclusion in the exclusive Knight Frank Luxury Care Home Guide 2020. The guide showcases some of the UK’s finest care facilities and will include Walberton Place Care Home in the village of Walberton near Arundel, West Sussex, Lakeview Lodge Care Home in Milton Keynes and Tallington Lodge Care Home in Tallington near Stamford, Lincolnshire.
Knight Frank provides advice on all areas of property in residential and commercial markets and compile an annual Luxury Care Guide featuring the top UK luxury care homes.
“We are delighted to have three of our care homes featured in this ‘best-in-class’ guide,” said Alykhan Kachra, Managing Director of Country Court Care “Our inclusion underlines our intention to provide a hotel type experience for our residents whilst retaining the family feel that makes our homes unique”.
Lakeview Lodge in Milton Keynes is one of Country Court Care’s purpose-built homes, caring for up to sixty-six people. The home has been designed with the needs of the residents in mind, with luxurious and thoughtful touches throughout. Communal areas are light, airy and uplifting, the home boasts a cinema room, coffee shop, private dining room, shop, family room, and Enigma café.
Walberton Place Care Home in West Sussex is also a newly built care home nestled in the picturesque village of Walberton close to Chichester and Arundel. Walberton Place offers residential and dementia care for up to 80 people with facilities that enhance the provision of daily meaningful opportunities and varied activities. The home features the ‘Horse and Jockey’ pub, Garden Café, hair and beauty salon cinema room and enclosed courtyard garden. The dedicated activities room enables arts and crafts activities to take place in a quiet space or for use of the Omi interactive projection system, specially designed for mental and physical stimulation.
Tallington Lodge Care Home has recently been extended and sympathetically refurbished in keeping with the original 19th Century rectory. The home boasts a traditional stone frontage, which blends seamlessly with surrounding cottages in the quiet Lincolnshire village. Close to the towns of Stamford, Bourne and Market Deeping, residents enjoy close connections with the community and regular trips to town.
Tallington Lodge offers beautiful homely accommodation with the highest standards of residential and dementia care. Spread over two floors, to accommodate the separate needs of residents, ground floor rooms feature patio doors leading out to private and personal seating areas. The care home has its own ‘Railway Inn’ pub with rooftop seating area, Gallery café, landscaped gardens with ‘Boat House’ garden room, quiet library and hair and beauty salon. Lounge and dining areas have been furnished to enhance the original features of the home with cosy fireside seating and thoughtful attention to detail.
All 3 homes differ in style and setting but are united in their luxury facilities and dedication to family-led, person-centered care. They all share one other characteristic – their very own ‘pets’. Each home features a metallic sculpture unique to that location, from a giraffe at Tallington, to a Stag at Walberton and even a Hippopotamus at Lakeview, which have become real talking points in their community.
