Nursing and dementia care in Spalding

Both Ashwood and Beech Lodge offer 24-hour nursing care, with a highly trained staff team on hand to care for people with nursing needs. As well as residential care, all our care homes in Spalding offer short-term respite care. Respite care [link to: https://www.countrycourtcare.co/support-advice/why-choose-respite-care/]  allows caregivers to take some time for themselves in the knowledge that their loved one is being safely cared for. You may also choose a short stay following a spell in hospital after a fall or illness.

All our care homes in Spalding provide our residents with 24-hour specialist dementia care. Good dementia care [link to: https://www.countrycourtcare.co/support-advice/living-with-dementia-in-a-care-home/  [starts with getting to know people individually. Our care teams will take time to understand people’s likes, dislikes, preferences and wishes and create a person-centred care plan tailored to the individual.

Set in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside our residents enjoy beautiful views across the fields and enjoy spending time in their gardens. With a wide range of facilities from hair salons to cinema rooms, cafes and pubs there is always plenty of opportunity for residents to continue their hobbies and interests.

Our care homes in Spalding play an active role in their local community and regularly host coffee mornings, dementia friends meetings and family events for everyone to enjoy. Residents enjoy regular outings in the local area, whether it’s a service at St John the Baptist church or a tour of Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and Gardens we love to get out and about.

Luxurious fine dining

Residents at our care homes are always excited when it is time for a meal. Our specialist chef’s produce some of the finest meals in the area. Not only are they delicious, but we also make sure that they are healthy and packed with nutrients to provide a balanced diet for the residents. We use the freshest ingredients for the emails and often use the produce in the garden, like herbs and vegetables to enhance the flavour.

Our menu is constantly being updated to provide our residents with new flavours. Our chefs often chat with residents to get recommendations about what they would like to see introduced. A personal relationship with our residents is something that we encourage our chefs to build because it can improve their dining experience. We also provide drinks and snacks for our residents to enjoy during the day.
