Residents, friends and family at Fenchurch House had a magnificent second birthday celebration organised by the amazing team of staff at the Spalding care Home. The celebration had a great Gatsby theme in keeping with the luxury interior décor.
The celebrations were to mark the second birthday of Fenchurch House care home. The warm family feel at the home was evident throughout the event, with staff making sure everyone was cared for, during the event.
Residents and staff were all involved in the preparations, including making balloon arches, crafting fantastic Gatsby themed head bands, decorated in their preferred colours, a raffle and much more. Staff dressed up in outfits from the 1920s adding to the atmosphere.
Friends and family were welcomed upon arrive with a glass of bubbles and the Chef at the home, Nuryanj along with her remarkable team created some amazing culinary dishes for everyone to enjoy. The centre piece was a magnificent cake in the Gatsby theme.
The fun continued with Karl, who entertained everyone with some fantastic singing and tunes from the era, which had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along, taking them back in time.
The room was filled with music, laughter and singing and everyone at the home was overwhelmed by the support of family and friends, with this just being the beginning for Fenchurch House Care Home.
