Random acts of Kindness Day for Fenchurch House

Residents at Fenchurch House Care Home had a visit from Jennie of Naylors Flowers, a family-owned cut flower business based near Spalding.  Jennie kindly donated a crate full of bunches of freshly cut daffodils to the home for all the residents and staff to enjoy.  Residents have loved watching the flowers bloom over the course of the week.

Her visit coincided with Random Acts of Kindness Day which was a great opportunity to involve the local community in life at the care home. The idea behind the day is to cultivate feelings of kindness and to light up someone’s day, one act of kindness can lead to more positive outcomes for others. The daffodil’s certainly put smiles on faces at Fenchurch House.

Anita Rowley, Home Manager at Fenchurch House commented, “We’d like to thank Jennie and the team at Naylors Flowers, this has truly brightened up our day. Our residents loved the daffodils and made us all feel as if Spring was in the air”.
