Following recent extensive renovation works, Woodlands House Care & Nursing Home in Colliers Wood is hosting a virtual Open Day on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September. Visitors will be able to take an individual ‘walk-through tour’ of the newly refurbished luxury care home, meet some of the residents and ask the Home Manager any questions they may have, all from the comfort of their own home.
“We want to show people our beautifully refurbished home” explained Customer Relations Manager, Conrad Bool. “Unfortunately, we can’t have our usual open day, so have arranged it virtually. During the tour people will see some of the sociable activities that our residents experience every day and even the food that they’ll be enjoying for lunch. We have a wonderful family atmosphere here at Woodlands House, our new pub, hair salon, lounge and dining areas provide fantastic dementia friendly facilities so the virtual tour will be a great opportunity for people to see what life is like at Woodlands House.”
“In these difficult times, the elderly population is particularly vulnerable at home”. Explained Home Manager Edmund Yeboah. “People may be concerned about how a relative is coping and would like to have more support, here at Woodlands House we can offer peace of mind and security”.
At Woodlands House the highly trained staff team provide 24-hour nursing care taking a family-led approach, with person-centred residential and dementia care, tailored to each individual. The home has stringent health and safety measures in place to protect residents and staff and a comprehensive testing program for Covid-19.
Appointments will take place via video call, between 10am and 4pm. Anyone can book a tour, whether they need care straight away or just interested in seeing the renovation works.
